Dragon Warriors: Character Creation Summary

The step-by-step character creation summary below follows the books closely but incorporates my house rules. The character creation summary is currently only available for the first four Professions. The other Professions will come later.

Step 1: Allocate 20d6 among Strength, Reflexes, Intelligence, Psychic Talent and Charisma, minimum 3d6, maximum 6d6. Choose the best 3 rolls for each.

Step 2: Choose A Profession. Roll for your HP. Choose your equipment and roll for starting money, if necessary.

Knight

The Knight is an armoured warrior excelling in defensive combat ability. Examples: Cavaliers, lancers, heavy cavalry, crusaders.

Barbarian

The Barbarian is a powerful and fast attacker. He can go berserk to enhance his offensive capability. Examples: Mongols, Vikings, Celts, nomadic horsemen.

Sorcerer

The Sorcerer commands the most powerful magic but he is the weakest fighter. Examples: Merlin, wizards, court magicians.

The Mystic is an all-rounder, a fair fighter and spellcaster. Examples: Psychics, monks.

Step 3: Modify your base ATTACK, DEFENCE, MAGICAL ATTACK, MAGICAL DEFENCE and EVASION scores according to the table below. The normal characteristic scores are 3 to 18 but exceptional circumstances such as magic or disease may cause them to fall below 3 or rise above 18.
